Finance Minister Suresh Khanna of Uttar Pradesh introduced a ‘paperless’ Budget on Monday, disclosing a fiscal proposal of ₹7.36 lakh crore for the fiscal year 2024-25. The state administration has allocated ₹100 crore for the comprehensive development of Ayodhya and ₹2,057 crore for the Ganga Expressway project. Additionally, a provision of ₹4,000 crore has been announced for the free distribution of tablets and smartphones to the youth.
