The much-anticipated movie “Ishk Vishk Rebound” is set to captivate audiences. While the original “Ishq Vishk” debuted in April 2003 with Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao in lead roles, the upcoming “rebound” installment will showcase Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naina Grewal. The actors recently unveiled the official release date of the contemporary film.
“Ishq Vishk Rebound” is slated to hit theaters on June 28, 2024. Rohit Saraf shared the announcement on his social media, stating, “Confusion may arise in love, but this announcement is crystal clear. #IshqVishkRebound #PyaarKaSecondRound in theaters on 28th June.” In an interview with News18, Rohit Saraf expressed his excitement for the sequel and emphasized that he isn’t replacing anyone. He clarified, “I am not stepping into Shahid Kapoor’s shoes. The only thing common between ‘Ishq Vishk’ and ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ is the name. It’s the franchise that connects them.”
Rohit further added, “I am genuinely thrilled. Nervousness kicks in just before a project releases, but before that, there’s immense excitement. I believe it’s something that audiences will relish, especially my audience.”
Initially, there were reports suggesting that Ishaan Khatter, Shahid Kapoor’s brother, would also join the cast. However, Ishaan denied these reports.
Produced by Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films and directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, “Ishk Vishk Rebound” holds significance. Notably, Dharmadhikari co-directed “Mismatched,” in which Rohit Saraf starred alongside Prajakta Koli.
