In response to the Samajwadi Party’s announcement of a seat-sharing agreement with the Congress, Asaduddin Owaisi, the AIMIM chief, remarked that Akhilesh Yadav, the chief of the Samajwadi Party, experienced electoral defeats in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and the 2022 Assembly elections. Owaisi highlighted that despite the Samajwadi Party garnering a significant number of Muslim votes in the 2022 polls, they were unable to prevent the BJP from winning. He questioned how many more elections Akhilesh Yadav would lose despite such circumstances.
