NASA has published the initial close-up images of the stadium-sized asteroid, 2008 OS7, captured during its recent approach to Earth. These images were acquired using the agency’s Deep Space Network planetary radar. On February 2, the asteroid safely passed by Earth at a distance of approximately 2.9 million kilometers, posing no threat of collision with our planet.
