The European Union (EU) has declared its intention to inaugurate a fresh sea route for providing aid to Gaza, with shipments originating from Cyprus, amidst the ongoing conflict. EU chief Ursula Von der Leyen has affirmed that the sea corridor will be operational from March 10. This decision follows the commitment made by the US to build a port in Gaza for the distribution of aid.
