Climate advocate Sonam Wangchuk has concluded his 21-day hunger strike calling for statehood for Ladakh and preservation of the Himalayan environment. Wangchuk expressed that while he has ended his fast, his advocacy will persist. In a recent tweet, he highlighted the perseverance of 350 individuals enduring harsh conditions, yet lamented the lack of government response, emphasizing the necessity for leaders with integrity, foresight, and wisdom.
