The Minister of IT, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, recently disclosed that Apple’s ecosystem has directly employed over 150,000 individuals under the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme approval in 2021, establishing the company as the foremost creator of blue-collar jobs in the nation. Additionally, the Minister mentioned that approximately 300,000 people have been indirectly employed, resulting in a total of over 400,000 new job opportunities.
