In the Jharkhand Assembly, the alliance headed by Chief Minister Champai Soren, comprising the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress, and Rashtriya Janata Dal, emerged victorious in the floor test on Monday. A total of 47 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) cast their votes in favor of the alliance, while 29 MLAs opposed it in the 81-member Assembly. Notably, the apprehended former Jharkhand Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, also took part in the floor test.
