NEWSUNVEILED | News - Latest News, Breaking News, Bollywood, Sports, Business and Political News Prime Minister Modi has stated that the government is progressing towards achieving a goal of eliminating electricity bills entirely.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted on Wednesday that the Congress party had adversely impacted public sector undertakings (PSUs) like BSNL, MTNL, HAL, and Air India during its tenure, whereas the current government has endeavored to rejuvenate them.

During his address in the Rajya Sabha, Modi pointed out the state of these PSUs under Congress rule, stating that they were detrimentally affected. He emphasized that the Congress party and UPA cannot evade responsibility for their failures. Modi cited examples such as BSNL’s transition towards Made in India 4G and 5G technology, HAL’s achievement of record revenue generation, and its emergence as Asia’s largest helicopter manufacturing facility.

Furthermore, Modi highlighted the increase in the number of PSUs from 234 in 2014 to 254 at present. He expressed confidence in India’s youth excelling in sports globally over the next five years and emphasized the transformation of public transportation, including the introduction of the Bullet Train and expansion of Vande Bharat.

Modi also envisioned India leading the semiconductor and electronics sectors globally within the next five years. He spoke about promoting millet production through the UN and anticipated its availability in the global market in the coming years. Additionally, Modi discussed the potential of drones in agriculture and anticipated growth in animal husbandry and fish farming, aiming to set new records in these sectors.
