Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, in response to reports of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s $7 trillion AI chip venture, described the figure as “astronomical.” Nevertheless, he acknowledged that Altman’s vision isn’t irrational, given the increasing demand for chips to train AI models. Zuckerberg stated that Altman’s ambition in the AI sector has been beneficial for its development.
