The Indian Express, citing a BCCI official, reported that all-rounder Hardik Pandya would risk losing his contract with the Indian cricket team if he opts out of participating in domestic white-ball tournaments. Allegedly, selectors and the BCCI awarded Hardik a Grade A contract after he committed to participating in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy in the absence of white-ball commitments with Team India.
