In Massachusetts, USA, a robotic police dog absorbed multiple gunshots fired by an individual barricaded in a residence, shielding law enforcement officials and preventing violence. Named Roscoe, the robot was deployed alongside two other robots to locate the suspect inside the house. Despite being knocked over twice by the suspect, who was armed with a rifle, the robotic dog ultimately sustained three gunshot wounds, disabling its communication capabilities.
