Military officials reported on Friday that a ship named ‘MV LILA NORFOLK,’ flying the Liberian flag and carrying 15 Indian nationals, has been seized near the coast of Somalia. The news of the hijacking was received yesterday. Authorities stated that the Indian Navy warship INS Chennai is en route to address the hijack situation, and communication has been established with the crew.
