he Supreme Court has accepted all petitions challenging the purported retroactive imposition of a 28% Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the total value of bets in online gaming. Last year, online gaming companies faced tax claims exceeding ₹1 lakh crore. The court has instructed the government to submit its response within a fortnight.
